Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

All notarization services are performed properly, and any prepaid appointment fees, such as the $35 deposit, are non refundable, even if the client is uncomfortable with the amount charged, as the service is rendered correctly. However, in the unlikely event of an error on my part, I will be happy to re-notarize the document properly for you although the client will be responsible for any necessary mailing costs. Additionally with respect to apostilles, any denials are not my responsibility, but rather the authority the Secretary of State, County Clerk, or Federal office as issues may arise from client provided documents or incorrect mailing to the wrong office.

Refund Policy - the basics

As a Notary Public I do not offer refunds once the notarization service is completed. This includes the $35 appointment fee,  which is non-refundable whether the appointment is kept or canceled.

What to include in the Refund Policy

In the event of a cancellation after full payment has been made for a notary service, a partial refund may be provided. The amount retained will cover postage for returning documents, travel expenses to mail them, and a fee for time spent on the matter.
